The Lambs

Well as I work further & further on the Driggers' family album, I am learning more & more about my family (well at least on dad's side). I enjoy learning these facts, because I wasn't around when most of these people were around, so to find out that hey you know your related to them don't you, is just the coolest thing to me... I would like to introduce to you my Great Grandfather Howard & my Great Grandmother Mary Lu "mollie" for short, and can you all find which one is my sweet Granny Esther in the bunch???? I'll give you a clue she's on the 2nd row!!

I enjoy learning about family things too!! I think it's neat to learn how things were before we came along. I'm glad you are delving into all this!!

Wow!!! I haven't seen that pic in a loooooonnnnnngggggggggg time. Felt like I stepped back to our little white house that burned. I remember spending hours on end flipping thru the boxes and boxes of pics that Granny had on the top shelf of the closet in the front bedroom. I miss those days. I miss that house. I miss the days when I was little and you all would come down. When we'd spend summers under the old oak tree shelling peas and butter beans and eating watermelon and ice cream. You and Alice and Jennifer were a bit young to remember that, but Ann and Carol will remember. I remember the Road Runner that Ronnie and Donnie had when I was about 8 or 9. I remember when they were students at Napier Field and they'd bring home boards and wires that was projects they were working on for class...i'd play with the boards and wires...and punch cards...probably why I always loved computers...huh! I remember the fireworks that Danny, Connie, and Cathy would bring for Christmas/New Years and shotting them off on the front poarch of Granny's house. Sitting on the front poarch rocking with Granny and Grandaddy. Watching the grass grow and the neighbors pass by. How Perry Moore would go to the store every afternoon about 2 pm to get a moon pie and rc cola. Riding to the store on the back of Grandaddy's truck to get bubble gum for a penney. OH MY at the memories. We'll have to talk some day....gather up the pics and come on down.

I remember a lot of good times down there. Pickin' pecans off the ground in Granny and Granddaddy's front yard. My favorite chair on their front porch was Granny's rocking chair. I loved sitting in it!! Man, these are great memories!!
