Introducing Abbie

What's up people? I just wanted to spread my joy today. I finally remembered to get permission to post the picture from Bre yesterday.

This is me and my brand new cousin Abbie.

isn't she adorable???? I know I am adorable too. Thanks for letting me know!!!

I am so happy that Abbie is finally here with the Family now. She has been a wonderful addition to the world. I can't wait to spoil her!!! Yep that's my right as a Cousin!!! It's in the constitution!!

what's up? what's happen? It's only Tuesday here and it feels like it's Friday. Work is super busy with the Funeral Home Renewals coming up & having to make sure everything is in order.

Monday Again

Its monday again, and I had the best day ever. So I walked into work with the biggest smile on my face, and I left work with the SAME smile!

in which that has not happened in several months!

so I am in a wonderful mood and no one can ruin it.

Today

Today was an awesome day. In the words of Granny Boo I got up, everyday I get up is an awesome day! I went to Church this morning and was able to hear Mr Barrets story, can I honestly say His story brought tears to my eyes. If you have yet had the chance I suggest you take the time to listen!

I learned today that you are the one that closes the door. God is the only one who can open a door. You have to pray on what God wants you to do.

Why?

The post is called why; because after Friday lets just say I have learned that no one I work with (inside my division) besides 3 people, I have learned from them that you can not trust them. But see where you have me wrong at is I am not there to befriend you! I have 3 people inside my Division whom I am friends with, news for the rest of you, just because I have decided to better my job and my work experience DON'T HATE!!!! DON'T GET PISSY! AND PLEASE DON'T CUSS ME!!!

because you see when I go to work, I drive my own car, I bring my own lunch, and I do my job! And when its 4pm I come prattville to my house. NOT YOURS!

I refuse to let someone or something put my SOUL in danger! So from this point on I will walk in with my IPOD on and not say a word unless I am spoken too.

I am off to bed, I am going to Church in the a.m.

Well yesterday I had the day of my life. And i really don't know how to explain it other than this.

1. I was off at 2pm
2. I went up and got to see my U.R.
3. Saw a ONE OF A KIND CHRISTMAS TREE

4. I got to go and see my BRE.
5. I saw my Abbie yesterday
6. With going a few weeks without seeing Abbie, wow, you can tell she is growing!!!!
7. Abbie makes the cutest sound. **If you haven't heard it, it's adorable**
8. I had my picture taken with Abbie in front of her Christmas Tree. I will post it later, once i get an okay from Bre.
9. I went home, and wrapped 2 Christmas Presents.
10. Did i mention I got to see my mom yesterday at work?
11. I also got to see MUM. Which i am extremely glad i got to see her, because it's not really promised that I get to see her when i go up there!!! But I picked a GREAT Day to go up there.
12. Did i tell you all I wrote a Story about Being a Driggers???? I want to put it in a Word Document and send it to my Driggers Families.

Today is Tuesday, And it's around Lunch time here, and I have a major headache, But I am a trooper and trying to make it.

Well today was Monday and after working my 8hrs today, I went & had my hair cut & colored.

If you haven't seen me in a while, then you will be extremely happy to know that I had more blonde pur in my hair.

Also you would remember that the chick that did my hair moved to Michigan, God lover she will be missed.

But I have found a new girl that I love the way she does my hair. ***GIVE IT UP TO KACY***

Updates

What up world? I have a few updates for you.

1. It's already December.

2. It's Cold as heck outside!

3. I need to get my roots done.

4. I am baysitting 3 animals this week. Bama (the big Teddy Bear Dog), Roxie (the new kitty) and baby Blue (the adorable fish). Just a little advice, Watch that first step it's a killer. I think Roxie is part Mountain Lion, because she can run before you even turn around.

5. I have been Christmas Shopping, for my nieces & nephews, hey i maybe in my 20's (let's not mention how close i am to 30), but I love shopping for toys. So when there birthdays & Christmas comes around I get to watch them play, and may even get to play myself.

6. By the way How many stores does Prattville really need? The shopping center that has JC Penny's, Belk's. And nothing else but some really nice EMPTY stores!!! I mean come on now, I hope something good goes in them.

7. If you all didn't know at work we went to a new system, it's done via the internet. Well seeing that are Internet service has been down more this week than it has been in the past 5yrs, it's kind of hard to work, so a lot of us attempt to do other things. I mean really is it that hard to keep an Internet Service up??? Come on people, I have to get Alabama's Funeral Homes licensed and appointed. It's kind of hard to do my job.

8. I want to say Thank You Lord, that my Uncle's Procedure went well and everything turned out great!!!

9. How many cousins can one person have?

10. Did you all hear about the young girl that was killed over the Thanksgiving Holidays? So sad, I am hearing that the two other individuals in the car are still in critical condition.

11. Have you ever sat down and listened to an older person talk?!?!? If you haven't, I would highly suggest you do this. I love sitting and listening to my Granny Boo talk about her life. She's so adorable.

12. Do they make a mitten for your nose? I mean come on people, when you cross the street of Monroe, that wind will literally kill you, and my little Pug Nose, can't take much of this cold weather!!!

13. We put the Driggers' Christmas Tree up, it's so pretty.

14. If you haven't heard, I have a new cousin. Her name is Abbie. She is adorable. No worries Bre, you still have the number one spot.

15. I got a new cellphone, it's a smartphone. and it's lime green. I know, fits me right?!?!?!?

16. The annual Christmas Party is coming up Saturday. I am so excited. I look forward to this every year.

17. I have been writing a lot of (my so called poems) lately. Don't know why, if i feel like i want to remember something i have been putting it in a book my mom bought for me. Scary isn't it.

18. I have also picked my drawing supplies back up....

19. My head is pouding they are putting new cubicles up a floor above us, and they are having to climb through are celing. I mean really, I don't like looking at plumber butt!!!

20. is Santa coming this year?

21. I have a new book, it's called The Alabama Night before Christmas. It's a must for all southern families.

22. I got to talk to my Aunt Sissy the other day, I was thrilled. She is so sweet. I love getting to talk to her!!!

23. I also talked to my cousin renee too, she turned another day older so I called to sing her happy birthday, I can honestly tell you I am glad that she is in my life. I remember spending time on her hip as a baby.

24. Why do kids not listen these days? I mean would this really make you stop if your mom looked at you and said You better stop 1, 2, 3.... (i mean come on wouldn't you slam on breaks and act right) ~ yeah me neither!!!

People, I would like to introduce you to the World's coolest cousin!!! And NO it's not the grown-up in the picture either!!! It's the cute little strawberry-blonde haired baby wrapped in Pink!!!

I am so finally extremely glad I got to meet "Miss Abbie", it has been a long time coming, but as you can guess it was well worth the wait.

Dreams

So I have had several dreams in the past week about my Grandfather & Granny Driggers. For most of you all know, I was not fortunate enough to meet Granny Esther, though I love hearing the stories that my family has to say about her!!!

And they are not scary dreams, they are very realistic, it's almost like the ones I have about Grandaddy KK. I actually see them face to face, and talk to them one on one. Boy I wish I could have met Granny Esther, I think she would be very proud of me. Or at least I hope she would. A lot of people in the Driggers family tend to tell me that I remind them a lot of Granny Esther, Wow what a HONOR!!!

But no worries, I will meet her again in Heaven.

Well I finally got through this last week of work... No lie, several times and I do mean more than 2, I thought I was very close a "breakdown". It all comes with having the knowledge I do of computers, and then a majority of the people I work with in my division are " a lot" older than me, and they really don't like a person of my age teaching them how to do something!!! You know, I really do love learning different things on the computer!!!

Friday a really great friend of mine at work and an Awesome Computer Technician left Insurance going to the ABC Board.. Sad day for Insurance but He's nothing but an Email away!!

It's before 8 o'clock on Saturday Morning and I am up and wide awake... Actually I have been up since 5o'clock. and don't know why. As some would say it's the luck of the draw!

A Day full of Random Thoughts

What up Family?

I hope you all had a better weekend than I did... But I did have a weekend full of thoughts... Go figure huh?

1. OMG it's already Monday, I think there is a LiL Monkey winding up the clock, because i promise it was just Saturday?
2. We go LIVE in one week with a new system..... Can you say Totally Not Ready?? and Totally not working right?
3. My nephew Tyler is 3!!! Oh my, it seems like Red was just at the house and mom was asking her if she needed to tell her something?!? Must be a momma thing huh?
4. You know some people don't need to be working, I mean come on you are just sitting there taking up the nice cold air that we buy!?!?!? Give it up, and let someone else come in and do it!!! Please.
5. Why is it I always get told to make sure I pay very close attention at a training session, guess what you want to know why?!?! Because 9x's out of 10, I will be one of the main ones working the system.
6. Have you ever seen 13 Ghosts? Good Grief I do not recommend it at all!!!! Especially if you have a weak stomach.
7. Have you seen Martian Child? OMG.. Awesome movie!!! It can teach what kind of role model you can be to a kid.
8. I hear my U.R. is under the weather~ So to my U.R. i do hope you get to feeling better!!!
9. With me being sick this weekend, I missed seeing 4 of the most awesome grownups that are in my life..... Yep that goes out to Uncle Jack & Aunt Judy, Mr. Terry & Mrs. Dnine.. I do hate i missed seeing you all, but honestly you all probably would not have wanted to see me at all!!! But I love the four of you and hope to see you all soon.
